The Mantraraja Pada Stotram is a hymn in praise of Lord Narasimha by the god Shiva, who is a great devotee of Vishnu. It’s found in the Pancharatra Agamas and it consists of 12 verses, one verse for each of the 12 words comprising the Mantra Raja or “king of Mantras”, i.e. the Narasimha Mantra starting with “Ugram Viram”.
